Will Koth

Will joined our team of interpreters in April 2006. Prior to that, Will spent two years as the Assistant Superintendent at Fort Delaware State Park. He has also worked for Delaware State Parks as Park Patrol, Park Ranger, Park Conservation Technician, Assistant Park Superintendent, and Park Superintendent. Originally from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Will now resides in Gumboro, Delaware. Some interesting jobs that Will has held include working in a pickle factory packing pickles, peppers and relish into jars, operating the labeling machine for Mott's Apple Sauce jars, and pumping mud out of foundations for a general contractor. Will says that what he likes most about interpretation is, "doing really small things to make people enjoy their visit (such as giving good directions and unlocking closed restrooms early)." Will is a Certified Interpretive Guide with the National Association of Interpretation.
