Join us on Friday afternoons this September and October for Hawk Count! Relax on the benches at Carpenter Recreation Area as the sunny, breezy fall afternoons return. Try your hand at identifying migrating hawks that fly by. We will have a few tips to help improve your skills. Feel free to bring a chair, some snacks and your binoculars. Weather permitting, we are out every Friday at 1 p.m. Park entrance fee is in effect .
