Cub Scout Bears: Critter Care Saturday, January 20, 1 - 3:30 p.m. Bears Elective Adventure: Critter Care Caring for an animal is a big responsibility! Join us at the Brandywine zoo to learn about different care requirements for both pet and zoo animals – you’ll even get to meet some up close. Program includes zoo tour and animal training demonstration. Fee: $12 per participant. Parents/chaperones: $5 program fee. Includes Zoo Admission. Career and Science Workshop: Animal Training

Training is an important part of working with animals. During this workshop, we’ll learn about the basic principles of operant conditioning training and how it improves the lives of our animals. This workshop will include a training demonstration. Fee: $10/non-member student, $8/DZS member student. Ages: 12 and up

Winter Day Camp

  • TIME: 9 a.m.

Winter Day Camp Monday, February 19, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Ages 5 to 13 Drop-off 8:30-9am, pickup 3:30-4pm, aftercare available until 5pm Learn about what animals do in winter, from hibernation to migration! Fee: $50/per child; $40/child for Delaware Zoological Society Members. Aftercare fee: $15 per person. Pre-registration required. Deadline for registration is February 16. Campers must be potty trained and come dressed for the weather. Campers must bring a bag lunch and water bottle.
