Intern Open House: Summer Zoo Internships

Zoo Kids- Animal Alphabet

Join us for a fun, interactive learning experience all about the alphabet! This program is geared towards young children and their caregivers, focusing on the animals of the alphabet! Scout Night

Scout Night Saturday, April 8, 4:00pm-6:00pm Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and their families Enjoy an evening at the zoo in this specially designed event for scouts and their families! Participants for this program get to enjoy an exclusive after-hours program all for scouts! There will be activities and learning stations all geared toward scout requirements. Animal Enrichment Workshop

Craft-loving individuals will enjoy this hands-on workshop making enrichment for our Zoo animals. Learn all about the different kinds of enrichment we use to entertain animals living at Brandywine Zoo, help us craft and create new items, and see some of your hard work given out around the Zoo! You値l also be able to make some awesome enrichment to bring back to your pets at home! Fee: $12/non-members, $10 DZS members Ages: 7 and up (Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult) Register online here.

Earth Day for Schools

Rain Date Monday: 5/1/17 Groups, take a self-guided tour through the zoo as we Party for the Planet! Celebrate Earth Day at the Zoo and stop at various conservation activity stations and learn how you can become a better steward of our planet. Plus, sign up for a time for your school group to have a special live animal program in our Education Building (space is limited). Fee: Free with Zoo admission, but please pre-register your group. Star Wars Day Photo Event

Public Photo Event-May the Force be with you! Bring your camera, as the Empire invades the Brandywine Zoo today! Meet some of your favorite Star Wars characters and even take photos with them! It's free to take photos with the characters, but donations are encouraged. All donations will benefit the Delaware Zoological Society. Toy donations will be collected during the event by Garrison Caridaョ of the 501st Legion. Fee: Pre-sale tickets, $8/person (ages 3+), will be available online until April 30. DZS Members free. Star Wars Breakfast

Breakfast with the Empire- Join us for an exclusive breakfast at the zoo before our zoo-wide public photo event! Have breakfast with some of your favorite characters and take photos with them in the zoo before it opens to the public. Fee: $20 per person (no member discount for this event). Early registration for Delaware Zoological Society Members through April 13. Public Reservations accepted April 14-May 12. Reservations required, as limited spaces will be sold. Endangered Species Day for Schools

Rain date Monday, 5/22/17 Endangered Species Day encourages people of all ages to learn about the importance of protecting endangered plants and animals and what actions can be taken to help preserve the future of these species here in Delaware and beyond.
