How to Register

To register, download a registration packet (available soon) and complete the form. Return by mail, e-mail, or drop it off at the Baldcypress Nature Center with payment.

Walk-In Location
Drop off registration form at the Baldcypress Nature Center at the park, Wednesday- Sunday between 10a.m. and 4 p.m.

Check, Cash or Credit Card (Visa or Master Card)
Payment/Balance Due June 21, 2013

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the start of camp in order to receive a refund. Cancellations or rescheduling will be subject to a $30 administrative fee. There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Trap Pond Explorers

Session:
Monday, July 08, 2013 to Friday, July 12, 2013
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 10
Cost: $150 per camper

About the Program: Explore native wildlife and ecosystems. Activities include fishing, boating, orienteering, survival skills and more outdoor fun. Join us for a week of new discoveries.


Fabulous Fishing

Session:
Monday, July 15, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013
Camp Day: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 11
Cost: $170 per camper

About the Program: Learn the skills you need to become a great angler. Bank fishing, fishing from a boat, seining and a fish dissection are just some of the activities. You’ll enjoy this “fishin’ is my mission” day camp.


Wings and Things

Session:
Monday, July 22, 2013 to Friday, July 26, 2013
Camp Day: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 10
Cost: $170 per camper

About the Program: Discover insects, birds and bats that live around our pond. Enjoy sweep netting, bird watching and building an animal home. Join us on Friday for an optional evening family cookout and nature program.


Trap Trackers

Session:
Monday, August 05, 2013 to Friday, August 09, 2013
Camp Day: 12 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 12
Cost: $170 per camper

About the Program: Many plants, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds call our park home. Find, observe and study some of them. Make fish prints and dissect an owl pellet. Join us on Friday for an optional evening family cookout and nature program.
