Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and/or requests to reschedule must be received 30 days before the start of camp and will be subject to a $30 administrative fee.  There will be no refunds or rescheduling within 30 days of the start of camp.

Discovery Camp: Creekin’ for Critters

Session:
Monday, June 16, 2014 to Friday, June 20, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. –Noon
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per week per camper

About the Program: Creek and nature exploration, games, stories and crafts. Location: Nature Center.


Wilderness Survival - FULL!

Session:
Monday, June 16, 2014 to Friday, June 20, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Spend the week making shelters, finding food, filtering water and learning how to survive in the wilderness. Make a survival bracelet and hiking stick to help you as you explore the wilderness or even your local park. Location: Nature Center/Robinson.


Caring for Animals

Session:
Monday, June 23, 2014 to Friday, June 27, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: This camp will explore the differences between wild animals and pets and how we care for both. Lots of outdoor play near the creek, crafts and live animal guests will be a part of this camp. Location: Nature Center


Working with Animals - FULL!

Monday, June 23, 2014 to Friday, June 27, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 11
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Explore ways people work with animals such as dogs, bats, goats and butterflies. This camp includes creek-time, games, field trips and a close encounter with live birds. Location: Nature Center/Robinson


Creek Creations - FULL!

Session:
Monday, June 30, 2014 to Thursday, July 03, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $175 per camper

About the Program: Use supplies from the natural world like clay, leaves and vines to make beautiful creations of all shapes and sizes. Of course we’ll also spend plenty of time playing and exploring the creek. Location: Nature Center


Ultimate Games - FULL!

Session:
Monday, June 30, 2014 to Thursday, July 03, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $175 per camper

About the Program: Put on your game face for four days of games, relays and exploration. Travel to Lums Pond for a friendly competition with campers from Lums Pond and Brandywine Creek State Parks. Campers must be able to swim. Location: Nature Center/Robinson


Knights & Fairies in the White Clay Kingdom - FULL!

Monday, July 07, 2014 to Friday, July 11, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: Explore the ‘kingdom’ of the White Clay Valley making fairy homes and castles from natural materials in this week of creek and forest exploration, games crafts and more. Location: Nature Center/Robinson


Adventure Rangers - FULL!

Monday, July 07, 2014 to Friday, July 11, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 12
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Learn to tackle the tasks of a park ranger in this camp about adventures and conservation. Includes an exciting adventure on a rescue boat, kayaking at Lums Pond and learning how to track animals in the park. Must be able to swim. Location: Nature Center/Robinson


Passport to Fun and Service in the Parks

Session:
Monday, July 14, 2014 to Friday, July 18, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Explore the parks by bike, kayak and foot, with trips to places such as Deerfield Country Club, Fort Delaware and Killens Pond. Then participate in service projects for valuable experience and volunteer hours (about 10 volunteer hours for the week) for your school or organization. Must be able to swim and bring a properly fitted, CPSC-approved helmet. Location: Nature Center/Robinson

Outdoor Adventure Skills

Session:
Monday, July 21, 2014 to Friday, July 25, 2014
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: Challenge yourself as we climb rocks at Alapocas, kayak at Lums Pond and mountain bike at White Clay. Finish the week with a bike ride to a cool spot in town. Campers must bring a properly fitted, CPSC-approved helmet and be able to swim. Location: Nature Center/Robinson


Stream Explorers: Pirates Treasures - FULL!

About the Program: Argh you ready for a pirate week? Search for treasure, pan for gems and meet new friends while learning about the incredible treasures that make up our natural world. Location: Nature Center

About the Program: Are you familiar with things like obsidian and mycelium in the virtual world? How great would it be to see and touch the real thing in the natural world? Have hands-on fun constructing, experimenting and playing with minerals, water and more. Location: Nature Center/Robinson


Frogs, Fairies and Feathers

About the Program: Get ready to use nets to search for frogs, dig for treasure along the creek and make fairy and frog crafts in this one-of-a-kind camp where you will get to see a live bird show! Location: Nature Center


Camp Awesome - FULL!

Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: Try a little bit of everything in this fun-filled camp! Go tubing, explore the woods, pan for creek gems, make nature gnomes, play games, create amazing art and see a live bird show. Must be able to swim. Location: Nature Center/Robinson
