Creekin' for Critters

Session:
Monday, June 15, 2015 to Friday, June 19, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. We will spend lots of time in and near the creek looking for critters. Our days may include puppet play, stories, crafts and outside play, with time to make new friends.


Wilderness Survival

Session:
Monday, June 15, 2015 to Friday, June 19, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 7 to 9
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Do you have the skills to survive in the wild? Spend the week making shelters, way-finding, filtering water and learning many things that will help you to survive in the wilderness. Make a survival bracelet and hiking stick for exploring.


Caring for Critters: Pets and Wildlife

Session:
Monday, June 22, 2015 to Friday, June 26, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. Care for animals by feeding or brushing your own pet or filling bird feeders and making habitat for wild animals. Learn the differences between wild animals and pets and how we care for both. Enjoy lots of outdoor play, crafts and live animal guests.


Working with Animals

Session:
Monday, June 22, 2015 to Friday, June 26, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 11
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Wonder what it's like to work on a farm or be a vet? Explore ways people work with animals such as dogs, bats, goats and butterflies. This camp includes creek time, games, field trips and an encounter with live birds.


Stream Explorers: Creek Creations

Session:
Monday, June 29, 2015 to Friday, July 03, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. Use supplies from the natural world like clay, leaves and vines to make beautiful creations of all shapes and sizes. We’ll also spend plenty of time playing and exploring the creek.


Ultimate Games

Session:
Monday, June 29, 2015 to Friday, July 03, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 8 to 10
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. This is a week of games, relays, team-building and exploring. We will travel to Lums Pond for a friendly competition with other camps. Friday will be the “Great White Clay Creek Cookout and Celebration” at Robinsons! Campers must be able to swim.


Knights, Gnomes and Fairies in the White Clay Kingdom

Monday, July 13, 2015 to Friday, July 17, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. Explore the “kingdom” of the White Clay Valley. Make gnome or fairy homes and castles from natural materials. Bring your imagination to life in this week of exploration, games, crafts and more.


Adventure Rangers FULL - Waiting list only

Session:
Monday, July 13, 2015 to Friday, July 17, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 9 to 12
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Challenge yourself to tackle the tasks of a park ranger in this camp about adventures and conservation in the parks. Includes an adventure on a rescue boat, kayaking at Lums Pond and tracking animals in the park. Campers must be able to swim.


Stream Splashers

Session:
Monday, July 20, 2015 to Friday, July 24, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 4 to 6
Cost: $100 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. There is nothing like a good splash in the creek. Lots of water play, plenty of creek time and maybe puppet play, stories, crafts and outside play, all while making new friends.


Passport to Fun and Service in the Parks

Session:
Monday, July 20, 2015 to Friday, July 24, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Explore the parks by bike, kayak and on foot with trips to a local golf club, Fort Delaware and Killens Pond Water Park. Participate in service projects for volunteer hours. Must be able to swim and bring a properly fitted, CPSC-approved helmet.


Outdoor Adventure Skills

Session:
Monday, July 27, 2015 to Friday, July 31, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 11 to 14
Cost: $225 per camper

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Climb rocks at Alapocas Run, kayak at Lums Pond and mountain bike at White Clay. Finish the week with a bike ride to a cool spot in town. Campers must bring a properly fitted CPSC-approved helmet and be able to swim.


Stream Explorers: Pirates Treasures

Monday, July 27, 2015 to Friday, July 31, 2015
Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 8
Cost: $190 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. “Argh” you ready for a pirate week? Search for treasure, pan for gems and meet new friends while learning about the treasures that make up our natural world.


Fantastic Frogs and Feathers

Camp Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 to 7
Cost: $210 per camper

About the Program: At the Nature Center. Search for frogs with nets, dig for treasure, learn about our feathered friends and make frog crafts in this one-of-a-kind camp. Campers will get to see a live bird show!

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Try a little bit of everything in this fun-filled camp! Go tubing, explore the woods, pan for creek gems, make nature gnomes, play games, go fishing, create amazing art and see a live bird show. Campers must be able to swim.


Gnome Homes and Toad Abodes

About the Program: At the Nature Center. Creative play making gnomes and their woodland homes. Includes lots of creek time, stories, crafts, outside play and a chance to build a home for toads.

About the Program: At Nature Center/Robinson. Are you familiar with things like obsidian and mycelium? How great would it be to see and touch the real thing? Explore the “biomes” of the White Clay Creek and have fun constructing, experimenting and playing with minerals, water and more.
