Alapocas Run State Park - Adventure Rock Climbing Camp Week 1 - FULL

For ages 11 to 13

Brandywine Creek State Park - Outdoor Adventures Week 1 - FULL

For ages 11 to 14

Challenge your outdoor skills and dive into history on this week of adventure in exploration! Learn about maps, orienteering, and go disc golfing through the meadows. Explore old ruins in the park, see who can build the best shelter, and visit Fort Delaware State Park! This camp also includes a tubing trip along the Brandywine. Frogs are hopping, birds are chirping and the creek is flowing during this summer fun camp! Campers will dig deeper into our animal world at the creek with nets searching for frogs and toads, and on hikes looking for owls and forest friends. For ages 10 to 13

Hone those outdoor survival skills by fishing the pond, teaming up to build shelters that can withstand the outdoors, and learning techniques to make the best campfire. Test your agility by boating in the water and traversing the treetops on the Go Ape Jr. Adventure Course. Find out if you’re up to the outdoor survival challenge! Trap Pond State Park - Fishing Frenzy Week 1

For ages 7 to 10

Become an experienced angler during this Fishing Frenzy camp! Learn the various bait types, fish species and knots needed to become excellent at fishing as we fish from the bank, docks and pontoon boat. This fishing camp will explore different fishing spots in White Clay Creek State Park. We’ll fish at two different ponds in the park and then try creek fishing after learning to cast and bait our hooks. Campers may bring their own equipment, or we will provide everything needed. Ever wonder what being a zookeeper really involves? Discover how our animals are cared for, practice your husbandry skills cleaning an animal habitat, prepare animal diets, create enrichment, and visit behind-the-scenes to see how the zoo really works! - This camp theme is also available another week. Both weeks will include the same activities/schedule. We do not allow campers to be signed up for the same theme twice. -- This camp will include hands-on activities or tours in behind-the-scenes areas that may involve dirty and smelly tasks that are often outside and in cramped spaces. These camps require campers to be able to work cooperatively with peers and adults and to be able to follow directions promptly.

This camp is specifically designed for experienced bikers with six or more miles of all-terrain experience. Join other avid young bikers from the region for a week-long mountain biking experience. The week includes rides all around at White Clay Creek and Middle Run trails. Bike repair, riding techniques and coolin’ off in the creek are all part of this camp. Campers should bring their own mountain bike (bikes are available to borrow) and a properly fitted CPSC-approved helmet, bike gloves, and be able to swim.
