Benefits

Living Allowance: Full-time members receive a living allowance paid every 2 weeks for the duration of service.

Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Insurance is provided at no cost to members

Educational Scholarship: Members receive an educational award upon successful completion of their service which can be used for future educational expenses or for current student loans up to (7) seven years after their completion of service.

Student Loan Forbearance: Full-time members serving October-August who are currently in repayment for student loans are eligible to receive interest-free deferment of payments during their service year, provided it is an approved student loan.

Childcare: Income-eligible full-time members may be eligible to receive full childcare benefits at the daycare provider of their choosing.

Uniforms: All members are provided with service uniforms.

Training: All members receive outstanding training and real opportunities for self-development.

Support of Staff and Volunteers! Members are not alone! Members work as part of the park team, along side park professionals, volunteers and other team members.

Free admission to all Delaware State Parks and the ability to attend most programs and activities at no fee
