They’re a band that promises nothing less than a rowdy, unbridled, and altogether good time that'll leave the soles of your feet singing a tune of their own. ilyAIMY - (Folk) at 6:30 PM

They engage audiences with humor and award-winning narrative songs that pair an unforgettably soulful and powerful female vocalist with a percussive, clawhammer-like guitarist. Their infectious energy and rapid-fire lyricism is softened with cello and lush harmony, making ilyAIMY “a welcome jolt” and “an acoustically roiling, combustible attack on the usual singer/songwriter fare,” say reviewers.

Jason Ager - (Blues/rock artist with hip-hop and R&B influences) at 6:30 PM

Balancing a PhD in German Literature with a few days a week as a stay-at-home dad, Jason still plays more than 100 shows a year in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. On his third album, Porchlight, Ager’s talent as a storyteller shines as he weaves together the academic and the arcane into clever lyrics that reward the careful listener. A simplistic indie/folk duo, AFTYN are hellbent on keeping it personal. Soothing melodies and raw instrumentation are the core of the duo, who self describe themselves as ‘modern hippies’. Their approach to live shows is uniquely down to earth, keeping their setup stripped back so they can engage the crowd with their relaxed, folk-driven sound. The duo is currently writing their next EP which will continue their journey.
