What is the Delaware State Parks Veterans Conservation Corps (DSPVCC)?

DSPVCC is a nationally award winning DNREC job skills training program for military Veterans and active Guard/Reserve members. The focus of the program is to assist members transitioning to civilian employment and connecting members with Veterans based community resources. Members will receive training, earn certifications and gain hands on work experience that will help members gain the skills and experiences necessary for transition to civilian employment in the natural resources field.

Who can join the DSPVCC program?

  • Military veterans with a honorable discharge.
  • Active National Guard and/or Reserve component members.

What will I do as a member?

Members work as part of team that are mission focused performing environmental stewardship and trail work throughout Delaware State Parks.

You will get dirty and work outdoors in various environments. Uniforms, tools, equipment, and transportation is provided.

When does the program start and end?
