Special Notice

Delaware State Parks has been evaluating which of our parks are able to offer camps this summer amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, based on evaluation of facilities, including bathrooms, available staff and camper interest, summer camps at the following locations have been canceled:

  • Brandywine Creek State Park
  • Cape Henlopen State Park
  • Killens Pond State Park
  • Trap Pond State Park

Selected camps at the following sites will run, but may have limited hours, registration and activities:

  • Alapocas Run State Park
  • Bellevue State Park
  • White Clay Creek State Park
  • Lums Pond State Park

Registered participants will be contacted and informed of changes. Full refunds will be offered upon request.

RECREATION CAMP: Creepy Crawlies - Bellevue State Park

For ages 7 to 11

August 17 - August 21, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Bellevue State Park is the place to be this summer! Activities include sports and games, nature exploration, arts and crafts, and a weekly field trip outside of the park all related to the weekly theme.

Cost: $190 per week

ZOO CAMP: Creature Classes - Brandywine Zoo - FULL

For ages 6 to 8

August 17 - August 21, 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

There’s no school going on at the zoo this summer but there IS class! Discover different classes of vertebrates and how you can tell them apart! Meet amphibians, reptiles, birds, and of course, mammals!

Cost: $168/camper; $147/camper DZS
