We host seasonal InstaMeet events in the parks to give photographers the opportunity to meet up with other photographers and experience cool photo opportunities in Delaware State Parks! Volunteer Photography Program

Our volunteer photography team is a team of skilled volunteer photographers who were selected to support the efforts of Delaware State Parks by documenting programs, natural landscapes, events, exhibits, and experiences within the parks. Applications for the team open every year in late fall.

Photo Contests

Delaware State Parks hosts photo contests throughout the year. Our most popular contest is our annual fall photo contest, which runs from early fall through late November each year. Other contests may be announced throughout the year on our social media pages and through our email list.

Professional Photography Permit

Professional Photography shall be defined as photographs taken by a photographer in a professional capacity for a session and image purchase fee, by salary or through the display, resale or use of those photographs. Any professional photographer operating in Delaware State Parks is required to obtain an Annual Professional Photography Permit.
