2023 Surf Fishing Permits and Annual Passes will be available for sale online and in park offices beginning, Tuesday, November 29, 2022. There is no sales cap for 2023 for any Surf Fishing Permits.

Low Digit Plate Auction

Between Nov. 22 and Dec. 9, bidders will have the option to bid on 15 tags including Nos. 32, 58, 143, 226, 355, 488, and on eight "choice" categories, ranging from tags 51 to 9999. For the choice tags, the highest bidder in each range can choose a number, if it’s not already sold, within that category.

Deer hunting is an important management tool incorporated in our resource management to attempt to reduce the negative impacts deer have on the natural resources in Delaware State Parks. In parks where hunting occurs some trails may be closed during gun hunting seasons.
